PAYMENT 

Our prix fixe menu is priced at $32 per guest which does not include tax or gratuity. We accept full payments in cash or credit cards with a two credit card maximum per table. We do not accept split payments between cash and credit cards.

GUEST DETAILS

All ages are welcome! Reservations are plated and charged for the number of guests submitted. If an infant or toddler will be present and not participating in the full menu, please indicate in the reservation notes. 

TABLE PLACEMENT

Our Tea Cottage is an intimate dining space and to ensure we provide the most comfortable experience, please note if the following are required:

  • Additional room for a stroller or carrier as we do not provide high chairs

  • Ease of access for guests using a walker, cane, or wheelchair

Table placement is specifically designed to accommodate all pre approved reservation notes including allergies, spacing, and celebrations. We are unable to move table placement or seating arrangements once tea service has begun.

LARGE GROUP RESERVATIONS

We are happy to accommodate large parties and due to limited capacity, we cannot guarantee seating at one table for parties of five or more.

We have nine tables in total in our dining room. Multiple tables for two may be used to create a larger table, or the party may be seated at tables in close proximity to each other. We are mindful of keeping the party as close together as possible while maintaining the most efficient service flow. 

CANCELLATION POLICIES  

Cancellation policies and fees are firm. Our team prepares all menu items daily according to the amount of anticipated business. Reservations are plated and charged for the total number of guests submitted. We kindly ask to be notified of a cancellation or changes in party size within 24 hours to provide ample time to contact our waitlist. Please make all adjustments to reservations through Opentable. Cancellation fees:

  • No show reservations without notice are responsible for a $32 fee per guest plus tax and gratuity

  • Full party cancellations less than 24 hours prior are responsible for a $20 fee per guest plus tax and gratuity

  • Single guest cancellations less than 24 hours prior are responsible for a $20 fee per guest plus tax and gratuity 

  • Single guest cancellations without notice are responsible for a $32 fee per guest plus tax and gratuity 

Large Group Cancellation fees:

  • Due to our limited capacity, we require a full commitment for parties of 8 or more 72 hours prior to the reservation date

  • Full party cancellations of 8 or more less than 72 hours prior are responsible for a $20 fee per guest plus tax and gratuity

  • Single guest cancellations less than 72 hours prior are responsible for a $20 fee per guest plus tax and gratuity 

  • Single guest cancellations without notice are responsible for a $32 fee per guest plus tax and gratuity 

MENU ACCOMMODATIONS 

We are happy to accommodate gluten free, nut free, dairy free, vegetarian, vegan, and combination diets. Advance notice is required. Please request any menu changes and/or accommodations within 24 hours of the reservation.  

  • Please specify the number of menu changes needed. For example: 1 gluten free, 2 vegetarian, etc.

  • If a nut free menu is required, please specify the nut allergy in detail. We cannot accommodate a soy or sesame free menu.

Our traditional menu offers products that contain or may contain tree nuts, peanuts, dairy, wheat, egg, and berries. We work with local vendors and bakeries who offer products that contain or may contain tree nuts, peanuts, dairy, wheat, egg, and berries. Our staff as well as our partners are educated and trained to to reduce the risk of cross contamination in allergen friendly products. However, we cannot guarantee that the consumption of our products is 100% safe for guests with allergies to tree nuts, peanuts, dairy, wheat, egg, and berries. We ask that all guests noting a food allergy are aware of the risks as we cannot guarantee a total absence of any of the above allergens. We cannot accommodate a soy or sesame free request. 

LOCATION

We are located at 25 W Main St, North Kingstown, RI. We are tucked directly behind Wickford Gourmet Kitchen Outlet.

TIME OF ARRIVAL 

We take pride in the presentation of our tea room to create the perfect atmosphere for your afternoon. Doors will open 5 minutes prior to scheduled tea times. Please plan ahead for doors to open at 9:55am, 11:55am, and 1:55pm.

PARKING

Our parking lot provides limited guest parking with a 90 minute max. Additional parking is provided by the town in the municipal lot or street parking. We value our neighbors and respect the designated parking for all businesses and ask that our guests do the same. Please do not park in the restricted airbnb guest parking or we will ask for the vehicle to be moved. 

RESTROOM

We offer a private facility to our guests located on the side entrance of our building. Access is not permitted through our service area and will require a short walk around the building. Policy is flexible for emergency and safety circumstances only. 

GIFT CERTIFICATES 

Gift Certificates are available to purchase in store Thursday-Sunday from 10am-4pm.

Tea for One | $40 | Includes our full afternoon tea service for one plus tax and gratuity

Tea for Two | $80 | Includes our full afternoon tea service for two plus tax and gratuity

Please avoid the hours between 12-12:30pm and 2-2:30pm.

ATTIRE 

We encourage our guests to make the experience their own and to dress as formal or casual as preferred!
