Venue Rentals

We are so thankful you have considered hosting your next event at Sweet Marie’s Tea Cottage. Our main dining room provides a unique and charming atmosphere perfect for intimate gatherings. We pride ourselves on making every event a success, whether it be a bridal shower, baby shower, birthday party, corporate luncheon, or any occasion to celebrate over a cup of tea. Private Event Packages | $36/guest

Capacity | 30 guests firm

Private event packages start at $36/guest and include our full tea menu of four sandwiches, three sweets, two scones, and a selection of bottomless tea.

Tea Party Brunch

Saturday-Sunday | 9:30-11:30am

Minimum | $900.00 pre-tax and gratuity 

 

Evening Tea Party 

Saturday-Sunday | 4:30-6:30pm

Minimum | $900.00 pre-tax and gratuity

 

Petite Tea Party

120 minute bookings perfect for small group gatherings including corporate luncheons, book clubs, and garden clubs

Wednesday

10-12pm | 12-2pm | 2-4pm | 4-6pm  

Minimum | $400.00 pre-tax and gratuity

Minimum requirements are firm. Parties are plated for present guests only.

Payment and Fees

A non-refundable security fee of $100.00 is required to secure the event date and time. One bill will be presented at the conclusion of the event plus tax and 20% gratuity. We accept full payments in cash and credit cards with a two credit card maximum. We do not accept split payments.

Cancellation Policies

Final details are confirmed 30 days prior to the event start date

  • Upfront security fee is non-refundable

  • Event cancellation 30+ days prior to the event start date will not receive any charges unless custom orders have been placed

  • Event cancellations 3 weeks prior are responsible for 25% of food and beverage plus tax and gratuity

  • Event cancellations 2 weeks prior are responsible for 50% of food and beverage plus tax and gratuity

  • Event cancellations 1 week prior are responsible for 75% of food and beverage plus tax and gratuity

  • Event cancellations less than 72 hours prior are responsible for 100% of food and beverage plus tax and gratuity

Set up | Decor | Breakdown 

  • Due to our small footprint, set up is permitted no sooner than 30 minutes prior to the event start time with a 3 guest maximum.

  • Outside food and beverage is not permitted to be served including celebratory cakes. Birthday guests receive a candle in their cupcake presented on the tea tower.

  • Outside food and beverages are allowed as party favors and cannot be opened or served. 

  • Decorations are welcome with the exception of glitter, signs with glitter, and confetti. Please do not use staples, nails, tacks, or glue to hang decorations.

  • Guests are responsible for discarding all wrapping paper and trimmings as well as decorative items. Please remove or discard balloons, banners, signs, and if tape was used, please remove gently. Trash bags will be provided. 

  • Please refrain from any games that require hiding small items. 

  • Sweet Marie’s is not responsible for any party favors or personal items left behind.
