We are so thankful you have considered hosting your next event at Sweet Marie’s Tea Cottage. Our main dining room provides a unique and charming atmosphere perfect for intimate gatherings. We pride ourselves on making every event a success, whether it be a bridal shower, baby shower, birthday party, corporate luncheon, or any occasion to celebrate over a cup of tea. Private events booked within standard business hours may not exceed our 90-minute service.

Private event teas booked outside of standard business hours are allotted up to 120 minutes with the option to extend hours at an additional $50.00/30 minutes. However, we find two hours provides the perfect time for small gatherings!
Deposit & Fees
A non refundable fee of $100.00 is required to secure the event date and time.
No additional room fees are required.

Private events booked during our patio's open season do not include private access during standard business hours.
Private access requires a $200.00 fee.

Prix fixe price includes three sandwiches, one scone with clotted cream, two petite sweets, and bottomless tea/hot chocolate. Accommodations can be made for allergies and/or dietary restrictions at an additional $2 per modified menu. Please contact Lindsey for details and pricing for a fully custom allergen free menu. Children’s sprinkle teas are exclusive to children’s parties only.

Set up | Decor | Breakdown
Due to our small footprint, set up is permitted no sooner than 15-30 minutes prior to the event start time with a 3- 5 guest maximum.
Please discourage guests from bringing any outside food or beverages.
Outside food and beverages are only allowed if given as party favors and cannot be opened or served.
Decorations are welcome with the exception of glitter, signs with glitter, and confetti. Please do not use staples, nails, tacks, or glue to hang decorations.
Guests are responsible for discarding all wrapping paper and trimmings as well as decorative items. Please remove or discard balloons, banners, signs, and if tape was used, please remove gently. Trash bags will be provided.
Please refrain from any games that require hiding small items.
Sweet Marie’s is not responsible for any party favors or personal items left behind.
Final details are confirmed 30 days prior to the event start date
Event cancellation 30+ days prior to the event start date will not receive any charges unless custom orders have been placed. Upfront security fee is non-refundable.
Event cancellation within 3 weeks - responsible for 25% of food and beverage plus tax and gratuity.
Event cancellation within 2 weeks - responsible for 50% of food and beverage plus tax and gratuity.
Event cancellation within 1 week - responsible for 75% of food and beverage plus tax and gratuity.
Event cancellation less than 72 hours prior to the event start date - responsible for 100% of food and beverage plus tax and gratuity.
One bill will be presented at the conclusion of the event plus tax and 20% gratuity. We accept full payments in cash and credit cards with a two credit card maximum. We do not accept split payments.
